Christine Villaverde launched her campaign for Congress with a determination to fight for North Carolina families, businesses, and communities in Washington, D.C.
Based on a platform of conservative principles and values, she is focused on protecting Americans and putting America first. Villaverde explains her decision to run for office, noting that “America’s financial and physical security, from our taxes to our borders, must be strengthened. The liberals and progressives in Washington, D.C., have failed us, coddling criminals, running scared from the Taliban, and implementing socialist policies that opens the door wide for government to intrude into every aspect of our lives, from our health to our paychecks.”
Currently employed at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts as the Safety and Continuity of Operations Consultant, Villaverde was raised in a military family and is a former police officer who saw first-hand the need for strong security on our southern border. Lowering taxes, eliminating wasteful government spending, protecting Constitutional liberties, ensuring law and order in our neighborhoods, and banning Critical Race Theory are also among her priorities. “I’m a conservative,” Villaverde says. “My personal and professional experiences are leading my drive to stop America’s decline by refocusing efforts on creating effective solutions and policies for the problems facing us today.”
“North Carolina needs a fighter in Washington, someone who will boldly stand up to the left-wing. I will go to Congress to proactively address the needs of North Carolinians, while also working to return global respect and power to America,” Villaverde said. She plans to expand opportunities for North Carolinians by helping conservatives take back our country by restoring democratic values, limiting government’s harmful policies, and promoting capitalism to boost our economy. “We must stop living the American nightmare that Joe Biden and the Democrats have created for us, and instead provide greater opportunities for every single North Carolinian to achieve the American dream.”
Villaverde is married and the mother of three boys, including 4-year-old twins. She and her family live in Fuquay Varina in Harnett County. She is a graduate of Fayetteville State University and earned her Master’s from Liberty University.
